My boy Doc, who is also on my top list of all time producers invited me to work on a project that he has been passionately crusading. While I was in Toronto for a dj gig I stopped by the studio to lend a hand. I can not explain this emotion but often in this line of work people will speak of projects they are working on and sometimes you can tell how special it is when the one trying to explain it simply says, I can’t wait for you to hear it.

Doc pressed play and my mind was blown away. The voice of an artist called “The Weeknd” poured through the air with such an elegant, impassioned and cultured tone one might think that he was part brass instrument. I could continue to explain it but I’d rather wait for you to hear it. lol.

TheWeeknd has so many good songs that I was unsure as to what I could offer the team. I left them with a piece and I can’t wait to get back up there to finish. Doc, TheWeeknd and their crew are bringing the shift if you know what I mean. Those that pay attention have already heard the movement and if you haven’t well here is your train ticket.
